For each visitor to our Web Site, our web server does not recognize information regarding your e-mail address and we do not use cookies, except while you are shopping (to keep track of your shopping cart), validating membership, for polls, and for community functions. Cookies are a small text file that allows us to recognize who you are when you arrive at our site by associating the anonymous identification numbers in the cookie with other information you as a customer have provided us. That customer information is stored on our secured database. At no time is your personally identifiable information (name, street address, credit card number) stored within one of our cookies.

SECURITY
We understand how vital it is to keep your information safe and secure.  Our site is 128 bit encrypted.  SSL (Secure Socket Layer) is not installed on the Fehu Berkana site.  Because we do not accept classified information from you directly, there is no need for us to maintain SSL.  PayPal is where your credit card information will be entered and processed.  PayPal DOES  maintain SSL and they are very secure.  Bank transfers will be done through your bank online or in their branch providing their security.

We do employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf, such as delivering packages, and for processing credit card payments. They have access to personal information needed to perform their functions, but may not use it for other purposes.

PERSONAL INFORMATION
By using this site, you give us your consent to use this information for any of the following: processing your order, market research, processing your payments, credit reference checking, fraud detection, and member management.

When you place an order with us, register to be added to an e-mail list maintained by us, or enter any type of drawing or contest, we do not share that information with any other person or business, except as noted in the security section above.  Any e-mail and private information collected is never sold to anyone.

In no case will we knowingly provide personal postal addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers to third parties, unless required to process an order or to fulfill legal requirement. The exception to this is unlawful use of checking accounts and/or credit cards. In the event of unauthorized use of bank accounts and/or credit card accounts, we will give any information we have about the party(s) concerned to the proper authorities, to help catch and prosecute the offender(s).

If, for any reason, you are unsure about the personal and account information we are holding in your name, please contact us. We will happily review your file and update the records if required. Alternatively, this information can be checked and reviewed online once you have signed in. Your personal information is accessible by logging onto your account through our secure server. It is important for you to protect against unauthorized access to your password and to your computer. We do not want to send spam. We do not send email unless you specifically request it, it is regarding a current order, or there is a problem with your membership.  If subscribed, for informational or promotional e-mail from Fehu Berkana, you may unsubscribe, at any time, by following the simple instructions in any e-mail sent to you, or through your account center.

If you believe that Fehu Berkana has not adhered to these privacy principles, please notify us by email.  We will make every reasonable effort to promptly determine and correct the problem.
